Free The Chilli Food Pop Up at Bellfield Taproom
Free The Chilli was born back in 2018 when two friends from Edinburgh, Jonny and Jamie, created their own hot sauce recipe, designed for maximum flavour and a subtle yet more-ish heat, using all natural ingredients with no added sugar and is suitable for vegans too! As well as hot sauce, Free The Chilli street food is all about celebrating flavours from around the world and offering fresh and tasty scran that hits the spot whether you’re a spice lover or not.
Come down to the Taproom this week to enjoy the pure fire Free the Chilli will be serving up to meat eaters, veggies and vegans from the completely gluten free menu they have designed especially for Bellfield!
On the menu this week is:
- Salt & Chilli Chicken - Crispy fried chicken tossed in our classic szechuan style chilli mix, pickled bits, sesame & coriander
- Thai Calamari - Calamari, thai salad, kefir lime dressing, pickles & naga mayo
- Cauliflower Satay - Crispy cauliflower buds, thai salad, ponzu, satay sauce, coriander, sesame & lime

Free the Chilli is serving at Bellfield Taproom and Beer Garden Thursday 28th - 31st of October.
Table booking is advised. Table service - just order food with your drinks!
Our Taproom is in Abbeyhill, Edinburgh – just off London Road. It's easy to reach on the bus, or by bike and it's a short (6 minute) walk from the Scottish Parliament and (12 minute) walk from Edinburgh Waverley Station. You can also reach us from Holyrood Park by walking along Ann Terrace off Spring Gardens, under the railway.
Table bookings are for 2 hour slots via the table booking section of our website. We allow 30 minutes between bookings for cleaning. If you'd like to stay a little longer (outdoors only), you can book two, back to back time slots, giving you 4.5 hours. Please book the same table type for a time slot 2.5 hours after your first one and send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know, so we can make sure you stay in the same place. NB: double bookings cannot be made for indoors.
