Our Taproom is at 46 Stanley Place (EH7 5TB) in Abbeyhill, Edinburgh – just off London Road. It's easy to reach by bus, by bike or on foot. It's a short 6 minute walk from the Scottish Parliament and a 12 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Station. You can also reach us from Holyrood Park by walking along Ann Terrace off Spring Gardens, under the railway.
Mon-Tue (closed) Wed-Thu (5pm-10pm) Fri (5pm-12am)* Sat (12:30pm-12am)* Sun (12:30pm-10pm) *outdoors closes at 10pm, at which point you will be invited indoors.
Walk-ins are welcome but we advise you book in advance, especially if you’re coming at peak times or in a group, as we do get busy. Bookings are for 2 hours. If you'd like to stay a little longer simply book the same table type 2.5 hours after your first one and send us an email at taproom@bellfieldbrewery.com to let us know, so we can make sure you stay in the same place. You’ll need to provide contact details for Test & Protect and you’ll still have to wear a face covering, except when seated/eating & drinking. We will continue to ensure all our staff do regular lateral flow tests and they’ll be wearing masks and continuing our rigorous cleaning regime.
We have an ever-changing calendar of guest ‘pop ups’: you can find who is cooking on our pop-up food calendar. You are also welcome to order in from your favourite takeaway or to order food from our local friends at Safari Lounge. Just ask for a menu or order in advance for delivery to your table.
Yes, we have a 2000 litre brewhouse on site which we installed in 2019, where all of our draught beer is now brewed. You are welcome to do a brewhouse tour and meet our brewers – book here.
Yes, during our Taproom opening hours. Draught beer (2 litre bottles supplied for free) is available along with Bellfield cans. Guest beers are also available.
Yes, we sell a wide range of other drinks from small batch producers from Edinburgh and other parts of Scotland. This includes spirits and soft drinks. We also sell prosecco and organic red and white wine. We usually have a changing selection of cocktails available too.
Yes, we have electric heaters in each booth and now also along the wall.
Yes, there are plug sockets and USB ports in all the booths and USB ports in the tap room for your use. Wifi is free throughout.
We have bike stands at the front of our brewery which you are welcome to use. Please bring your own lock though.
Children are welcome to join us up until 9pm and must be accompanied by adult.
Absolutely! Dogs are welcome in both the Taproom and the Beer Garden. Ask the team for a bag of our homemade dog biscuits - we use the spent grain from brewing to make them - and scan the QR code on the bag to donate to Edinburgh Cat and Dog Home.
We would love to host your event whether its a party, family and friends get together, meeting or corporate event. During opening times we cannot offer exclusive use but we can allocate you a space. On Mondays and Tuesdays when we are normally closed, it may be possible to hire the space exclusively depending on your needs.
