Bellfield is part of a vibrant local ecosystem of talented, small, independent businesses. In no small part, it was working together – and setting up new collaborations - that kept us all afloat during consecutive, pandemic lockdowns.
So now we’re spreading some festive joy by sharing some of our favourite, local products with you and – in doing so – supporting these other small producers and the local economy.
We're especially excited about the spirits (gin, rum and malt whisky) that we had developed in-house, specially for our Taproom in Edinburgh and have now bottled in a limited edition of 20cl bottles, for inclusion in these gift boxes. These are available in limited quantities, so order now to avoid disappointment.

Brodies – The Edinburgh Tea, 125g (GF/Vegan)
Founded in Edinburgh in 1867 by three enterprising tea merchants, the company continues to this day on the quest for the very best, from plantations and tea gardens across the globe.
The Edinburgh Tea was first blended in the 1930s. A light and refreshing Ceylon-based tea, the Kenyan teas in the blend lend a bright edge to the cup.
Leithal Hot Sauces – Ocean Terminator, 250ml (NGCI/Vegan)
Based in Leith, Edinburgh and founded when three friends found themselves furloughed during the Covid-19 outbreak. Each bottle of Leithal sauce is handmade using different chillies and ingredients to create tasty and innovative flavour combinations.
Ocean Terminator – Hot and spicy tropical flavours with passion fruit, pineapple, mango and a Scotch bonnet chilli kick. Heat level: 🔥🔥

Ocelot Chocolate – Black Cherry Chocolate, 70g (NGCI/Vegan)
Owned and run by married couple Matt and Ish, Ocelot is based in Loanhead, Edinburgh. They first started making chocolate in their kitchen in 2013, selling it at local farmers markets. Eight years on, they have their own micro chocolate factory and send their chocolate worldwide. They use only what they believe to be the most ethical organic ingredients.
Black Cherry Chocolate – Tart cherries enveloped in smooth, rich, organic dark chocolate.
Nairn’s - Sea Salt & Balsamic Vinegar Snackers, 23g (GF/Vegan)
Nairn’s have been making oatcakes and biscuits at their Peffermill site in Edinburgh since 1935. All their products are made from simple, natural ingredients Nairn’s source the majority of their wholegrain oats from the Scottish Borders. They also use gluten free oats from dedicated farmers across the UK.

Ross's of Edinburgh – Handmade Scottish Tablet (NGCI) & Iron Brew Creams (NGCI/Vegan)
James Ross founded the company in 1880, by making tablet and other sweets in his back shop, for direct sale to the public. Ross’s, based in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, still produce those nostalgic sweets of the 30s and 40s while also making room for new flavours and recipes.

The Spice Witch – Cranberry, Orange and Chilli Chutney, 327g (NGCI/Vegan)
Specialising in small batches and big flavours, The Spice Witch is based in the coastal town of Prestonpans, East Lothian. The company has received five Great Taste Awards for their award-winning range of artisanal chutneys, relishes and mustards.
Cranberry, Orange and Chilli Chutney – Winter spiced relish, mild chilli heat but very aromatic. An exceptional addition to a festive cheese board.
Roots Soda - Superposition, 250ml (GF/Vegan)
Roots, based in Edinburgh’s Granton, have redefined the the soda game, creating unique flavours by using ingredients such as beetroot, pink grapefruit, and rose.
Superposition - Superposition is a white grapefruit & hop soda. It has 49% less sugar than most sodas, contains no concentrates, artificial sweeteners, flavours, colours, or preservatives, and it is handmade in Edinburgh.
COCO Chocolatier – Rhubarb & Ginger Milk Chocolate, 80g (NGCI)
Coco in South Queensferry, West Lothian, has been sourcing 'at origin' since 2016, when they first started a collaboration with a Colombian company that works with cocoa farmers. They import the locally-processed chocolate and transform it into a range of artisan chocolates, here in Edinburgh, ensuring that more wealth remains within developing economies,
Rhubarb & Ginger Milk Chocolate – An old-school flavour pairing that delivers fruity sweetness with a warming spice finish. 40% single origin milk chocolate.
Obadiah Coffee – Macaubas Brazilian Coffee Beans, 250g (GF/Vegan)
Obaiah started life as a pop up coffee shop in Edinburgh in 2016 and they now have an ultra modern coffee roastery just around the corner from us, in Abbeyhill. The company uses a single roast method for each coffee, to enhance the distinctive characteristics apparent within individual coffees. Obadiah’s partners invest in the wellbeing of farmers and their communities, improving infrastructure, quality of life and income.

All Bellfield beers are certified gluten-free by Coeliac UK and are registered with the Vegan Society. See individual items for associated allergy information.
Our festive gift boxes contain alcohol, therefore the minimum age to order these types of gifts is 18 years of age.
Gift Boxes will be shipped at the end of November via Parcelforce next day delivery (not weekends).
Additional items in your order (such as cases of beer) will be shipped at the same time as your gift box.

Bellfield are holding substantial stock of all items from our partner organisations but In the unlikely event we have any issues with replenishing stock - and have to substitute any non-Bellfield items - the item will be replaced with a similar product of equivalent or greater value.

August at Bellfield Taproom - Scottish Brewery of the Year 2023
We'll be open 7 days a week throughout August (except Monday 5th) – opening at 2:30pm on weekdays and midday on weekends.
Our favourite Mexican food pop-up, Guisados will be serving food Wednesday to Sunday and we're continuing our popular Fizz Fridays with bottles of fizz for just £15. Our popular Tours and Tastings will take place on Friday's and Saturday's and we'll be showing the the Olympics on the big screen.
