The Ardbeg 10 Year is something of a benchmark for the Ardbeg distillery. The peat level is on the higher end of the scale at 55 parts per million or ppm. It is bold, it is masculine, and it is not hiding its true character in heavily sherried casks.

Following their inaugural 10-year-old release last year, this 2025 version is a marriage of 54 ex-Bourbon barrels and 2 ex-Sherry hogsheads, crafted from both peated and unpeated spirit. Non-chill filtered and natural in colour, as with everything from Ardnamurchan distillery.

Bottled at its natural cask strength for maximum flavour, this whisky was elevated through maturation in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, red wine and virgin oak casks. With a deep chestnut hue, a lively nose and a punchy palate, expect a dram that captivates the senses.

Straw gold in color. Sherry-sweet malty aromas combine with a light smokiness and subtle spice. Delicately light, sweet and malty, with hints of biscuits and cream and peaty notes. Leaves a long, slightly spicy finish with a lingering smokiness.
Glengoyne Legacy Series 48.0%	25ml	£6.90
A whisky series that celebrates some of the people who make up this Highland distillery's history. Chapter 3 focuses on Sir Arthur John Tedder, who arrived at the Glengoyne distillery in 1899 as their distillery onsite excise officer. 9 years after arriving at the distillery, he was called as a first witness to the Royal Commison as to what defined Scotch Whisky, particularly with reference to the newly popular Scottish Grain whisky. He had a distinguished career in the Board of Customs and helped devise the old age pension. A dram that is also a history lesson! Slow distilled and aged in American oak sherry casks, this dram shows Glengoyne's fruity, unpeated house style and spirit character. A dram we are sure Sir Tedder would approve of.
